BUMPDATE: Week 33


Husband Notes: "your belly button is prolapsing..."

Due date: February 11, 2019

How far along: 33 weeks; baby has developed his or her own immune system

Size of baby: As big as celery

Gender: Baby GIRL!


Total weight gain: 32 lbs.

Symptoms: The fatigue is back! Thanks a lot, third trimester. 


Physical changes: My belly button is still an innie. Belly is feeling extra itchy this week. 

Labor signs: Braxton-Hicks contractions felt stronger this week

Stretch marks: None

Wedding ring: On


Maternity clothes: Belly Bandit's 2-in-1 belly wrap has been giving me LIFE! It takes a lot of the pressure off my pelvic girdle and is providing much needed support and comfort. Better yet, it can be used postpartum to bring the hips back in. 

Diet: I swear I've gained another 10 lbs just from all the Christmas cookies consumed. 

Food cravings:

        • Citrus fruits and tropical fruits
        • Apples
        • Fish
        • Spicy foods (Takis Fuego is my jam right now)
        • Cakes and cookies
        • Bread

Food aversions: Pork? It's the only thing that doesn't sound appetizing.

Exercise: Who has time to exercise during the holidays? 

Sleep: Sleep has been pretty good this week. I've learned that coffee only makes it worse for me, so sticking to tea and coke during desperate times.


Miss anything in particular: Sleeping without a bowling ball on me.

Mood: Happy to have a 4-day weekend all to myself. Let the nesting begin!

Looking forward to: Finally putting the crib together!


Worst moment this week: Not getting to go bowling with my friends, because I felt so tired and large. 

Best moment this week: Spending time with friends and family. It was exhausting, but it was nice getting to enjoy the holidays before the little one arrives.
