[REVIEW] Indeed Laboratories Nanoblur

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing and purposes.
All opinions are honest and my own.

video makeup:
YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer (review)
COVERGIRL Outlast Luminous Foundation in 842 Medium Beige (review)
MAYBELLINE Instant Age Rewind Treatment Concealer in Light Pale
ELF Eyebrow Kit in Dark
YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara in 01 High Density Black (review)
Japonesque Velvet Touch Blush in 03
Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait
KRYOLAN High Gloss in Toffee
KRYOLAN Cream Highlighter in Cashmere
BENEFIT Hoola Bronzer
INDEED LABS Nanoblur

QUICK TAKE: The package is soOo cute but a bit of a waste.  The box is huge considering how much smaller the tube of product is.

USAGE TIPS:  The product needs to be pat onto the skin gently or else it will disturb your makeup.

THE VERDICT:  Skin perfectors seem to be making its way into the beauty world and this one shouldn't go unnoticed.  I was a bit skeptical at first, but Indeed Laboratories' Nanoblur ($20) exceeded my expectations.  It's easy to apply and can be used in a variety of ways.  It really does blur fine lines and wrinkles and diminish pores.  You can tell when you're applying it, but you can see the difference in photos.  I'm obsessed with how well this cream works, and I appreciate nanotechnology in beauty even more now!  Watch the video to see my full review and demo of this product!

Can you tell which half has Nanoblur on it?

[REVIEW] YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer & Blur Perfector

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing and purposes.
All opinions are honest and my own.

COVERGIRL Outlast Luminous Foundation in 842 Medium Beige (review)
MAYBELLINE Instant Age Rewind Treatment Concealer in Light Pale
ELF Eyebrow Kit in Dark
YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara in 01 High Density Black (review)
ELF Studio Blush in Pink Passion
RIMMEL Moisture Renew Lipstick in 644 Let's Get Naked
KRYOLAN Cream Highlighter in Cashmere
BENEFIT Hoola Bronzer
YSL Touche Eclat Blur Perfector

QUICK TAKE: I thought the packaging looked sophisticated and the product was well-presented.

USAGE TIPS:  Use as directed.  Primer goes on before makeup.  Perfector goes on after makeup.

THE VERDICT:  Wow!  I'm blown away by the performance of both the YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer (full size - $52) & Blur Perfector ($55).  I cannot stop looking at how flawless and airbrushed my skin looks.  The primer is formulated with gold micro flecks of shimmer that illuminates your face and it also softens and smooths the skin.  It reflects light in all the right places and blurs where it's necessary.  It also smells very soft and pretty.  The perfector is a balm to powder makeup finisher and is great for setting makeup.  It can also be used as a touch up throughout the day.  It mattifies without making my skin look caking or dry and it blurs my skin imperfections to give my face a soft focused, air brushed look.  I can't stop raving about this product and I highly recommend it.  I know it's expensive but go buy it!  You won't regret it.

[REVIEW] CoverGirl Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation & Longwear Lipstick

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing and purposes.
All opinions are honest and my own.

QUICK TAKE:  My Influenster #IDoVoxbox included the CoverGirl Outlast Luminous Foundation in Medium Beige (~$11) and the CoverGirl Outlast Longwear + Moisture Lipstick in Fireball (~$8).  The foundation looks shimmery in the bottle, so I was a bit concerned about that.  I didn't want to look like a pre-teen who was experimenting with glitter makeup.  The lip color appears to be of a red-orange shade which could look really great or really terrible on me.

USAGE TIPS:  Apply the foundation with a stipple brush and blend with a dampened Beauty Blender sponge if need be.  I only use a stipple brush, because I don't want to remove the micro flecks of gold shimmer that is in the foundation. Apply the lipstick with a gentle hand, because it's super pigmented.  A lip brush helps a lot.

THE VERDICT:  I love CoverGirl and their products!  Both the foundation and lipstick are reasonably priced for the drugstores and I definitely think they're worth the money.  The foundation is easy to use and looks great on my skin.  I think it performs really well and is one of the best drugstore foundations I have ever used.  The lipstick is just as punchy as I thought it would be and I love it!  The red-orange shade complements my medium skin tone quite well.  Watch the video to see my full review and demo of the products!
